from 9am-12pm
This class is for children who are 4 to 5 years old and are heading to kindergarten the following year.
The child to adult ratio is 1 to 6 with a max of 12 students in the class. This allows our certified teachers to meet the needs of our students.

Curriculum Overview
• Ourselves - family, name recognition, address/phone, birthday
• Socialization - sharing, responsibility, friends, manners
• Review of colors, shapes, sizes, numbers, left to right progression
• Community helpers
• Seasonal activities, holidays
• Fire safety
• Science - weather, seasons, life cycles, plants, seeds, insects, dinosaurs, space
• Math - calendar, numbers, number sense, counting, identifying 1-50, classifying, time, one-to-one correlations, patterns, addition and subtraction
• Literature/authors
• Creative expression - finger play, music, art
• Alphabet study throughout the year using inactative notebooks
- Weekly themes centered around letters- P is for Priates and Picnics, U is for Under the Sea
• Introduction to site words and word families.
